• Violin I carries the melody. Its ribbon follows the pitch moment to moment, so the vibrato shimmers and long notes swell.
• Violin II plays the arpeggios and inner voices beneath it.
• The arch between them is the harmony. Consonant intervals glow warm white. Tension turns violet and flickers until it resolves.
• The staff lines ripple outward like bowed strings from every note played on them.
• Nuvole bianche means white clouds. The ribbons shed vapour that gathers above the page, and at the end the camera rises to show the whole piece at once.
